Standup Screw Gun Quick Start Guide

Tighten adapter set screw.

Insert inner rod into center of adapter and screw gun. Push down until rod clicks into place. Slide outer extension pole over inner rod and thread onto screw gun adapter

Insert bit into the end of extension pole.

Install the screw attachment making sure it is positively seated. Tighten wing nut until snug.

Remove screw using Phillips screwdriver. Align marks on nosepiece with locking boss for proper fastener lengths.  To tighten screw, depress the nosepiece using slight pressure.  Tighten the screw to make sure it is snug against the slide-body.

Move the strip forward until the first screw is aligned with the bit. This will allow for the proper strip advancement once the nosepiece is depressed.

To remove the strip, pull it through from the bottom of the nosepiece.

Adjust screw depth by turning the depth adjustment thumbwheel. Refer to the graphics on the tool for proper direction.

Be sure screw gun is operating in forward (clockwise) direction. Screw will not advance and bit will be damaged otherwise.

Pull the trigger to start the motor, press the nosepiece with constant force against the work surface. Do not remove the tool from the work until the clutch disengages and the bit stops rotating, signaling a fully driven screw. The next screw will be automatically fed into place when the tool is removed from the work. This tool has a depth-sensing clutch and will automatically disengage making a click ratcheting noise signaling a completed drive.
