How to avoid common installation mistakes

Use a screw driver/gun with an operable clutch to avoid not setting screws at the proper depth.

Match panel edges on the high points/ribs of the corrugated B decking, if you match them across a valley/corrugated low point the support will not be sufficient and will void the warranty.

Use approved screws and set them just below the panel surface, too high or too low doesn't secure the flooring panels properly.

Gap it properly; use 1/8" metal spacers between panels for correct spacing and 3/8" gap on outer edges/perimeter portion of panel.

Transport of Product Also Transfers Ownership

Be careful when you sign for your product on a bill of lading or receiving ticket, when you sign for your delivery you are accepting the quantities and stating your product was received in good condition.

However, often you can’t see the damage from transport until it’s unloaded. Therefore, make sure you thoroughly inspect and carefully count your incoming product prior to signing the bill of lading.

CHALLENGE:

A bar grated working platform was impeding the efficiency and movement of product from below and across it on pallet jacks.

SOLUTION:

Installed ResinDek‚ flooring panels and a safety gate to provide access for loading pallets onto the deck surface from below and for ease of moving pallet jacks across the working platform.

ResinDek flooring panels were chosen because they could be easily installed over the bar grating and have been used in distribution centers for several years.
