Pamela Clontz has recently joined the Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products Team.
Pamela will be serving as an Administrative Assistant at our Cincinnati facility, and brings a diverse background in the service industry with experience in customer service, order entry, shipping, and receiving.
She has a degree in Early Childhood Education from the Pratt Institute, and feels this professional training enhances her communication skills.
Pamela was a warehouse manager and purchaser for 10 years at Aveda Fredric’s Institute (environmental leader in the business community) prior to joining us.

Pamela’s responsibilities at Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products will include order processing, customer service, general office, and marketing support. Her service in this area will allow Lisa Friemoth to move full time into our important area of customer service with Jeanne Sarver.

Testing for Custom Applications
Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products’ Engineering Team has been busy testing for a large flooring project in Canada, where the customer needs a flooring system that will support point loads of 600 kg (1,322 lbs.) bearing on a 150 mm x 150 mm (6" x 6") square plate, safely carry a uniform load of 480 kg/M2 (100 psf) while using custom joists, and a special corrugated decking. We will need to use a 13 mm (1/2" thick) decking material for height restrictions and employ a T&G on all 4 sides as requested; something not found on 1/2" thick panel products in the United States currently.

We are in the process of completing the verification testing that the physical and structural requirements specific to this application are being met and covered by our 7-year product warranty, since this is a customized ResinDek panel.
At Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products we are actively engaged in the process of designing flooring systems to meet the specialized needs of the Material Handling Industry. Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products is extending its reach to introduce ResinDek Flooring Panels to end users, 3rd party logistic companies (3PLS), architectural firms, engineers, and other professionals that recommend &/or use these types of products.
.jpg) We have learned from one of our ResinDek Partners that as many as 50% of the mezzanines constructed in the United States today never passes by a ResinDek Partner, and are built directly by general contractors. Therefore, we have launched the New ResinDek Specification Binder that includes the benefits and specifications for ResinDek mezzanine flooring.
These binders are available to everyone and are offered with a Lunch ‘N’ Learn Seminar, where we explain “why ResinDek” makes a good choice, installation, and about the other alternatives available with their applications.
The initial responses have been excellent and we have solidified several key contacts "by utilizing this new outreach.
