ResinDek Xspan FR is a flame-resistant structural mezzanine floor solution that does not require metal corrugated substructure. It meets ASTM E-84 Class "A" flame spread less than 25, meets UK Class "O", as well as European standards EN 13501-1 and is rated as CFL-s1.
ResinDek Xspan FR structural floor solution can support 275 psf dead loads at 32" center supports and 3,000 lb. rolling pallet jack loads. Reference the load span tables below for other allowable uniform and pallet jack loads. In addition, ResinDek Xspan FR flooring panels have been approved by IBC Code Officials for use as a structural flooring system in certain applications. Structural supports must be reviewed and approved by Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC® and must be capable of supporting floor loads at specific intervals. For further details, call us and/or your local building code official.
ResinDek flame-resistant flooring panels are custom manufactured and available in sizes up to 4' x 10' (1220 mm x 3048 mm) with our proprietary coatings and up to 4' x 8' (1220 mm x 2438 mm) with our MetaGard® steel surface for extreme wear conditions. The underside comes standard with a galvanized finish or white steel finish. ResinDek tongue and groove configurations promote effective panel to panel wheel load transfers. When required, tongue and groove configurations are available on all 4 sides.
ResinDek Xspan FR engineered flooring panels are custom manufactured with specially sorted and processed wood fibers, customized formaldehyde free resins, and a wax emulsifier for moisture resistance. The ingredients are combined and compressed under extremely high pressure and temperature, resulting in a panel with superior physical properties.
All ResinDek flooring panels come standard with a 10-year product warranty that covers pallet jack loads for 10 years! Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC® warrants all ResinDek panels to be structurally sound, able to safely carry the specified design loads, and free from defect. TOP SIDE ENGINEERED FASTENERS
For conventional top side fastener installation, use Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC® Collated Stand-up Screwdriver and collated engineered drill screws. Not only will the collated screwdriver gun save you up to 40% in fastening costs, but it will reduce installation fatigue with its ergonomic design.
The top side engineered fasteners are designed for strength, durability and easy installation. No countersinking or pre-drilling is required as the wings are near the top of the shaft, which counterbore for screwheads. The number 2 square drive heads and points easily pierce up to 12 gauge steel decking and is designed to drill through wood and steel decking prior to the threads engaging, thus preventing the mezzanine floor panels from lifting.
In addition our collated engineered fasteners offer the following advantages:
INVISI-LOC® UNDERSIDE ENGINEERED FASTENING SYSTEM
Invisi-Loc provides showcase mezzanine floors with no visible fasteners that are dependable, economical and easy to install. The Invisi-Loc under deck engineered fastening system mounts fasteners under the mezzanine decking hiding unwanted screw holes on top. Plus, when installed with our pre-punched corrugated metal decking, installation time is reduced and potentially dangerous metal shavings are eliminated.
COLLATED SCREWS FOR CORRUGATED METAL DECK
B-Deck screws work best in roll form beams and structural steel under 3/16" thick. Valleys less than 2-1/2" wide may not accommodate the screwdriver. Contact Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC for additional information.
Note: Additional Fastening Systems are available, please contact Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC® for more information.
