Pre-Punched B-Deck for Invisi-Loc®

Time is money on a job site, which is why we offer pre-punched B-Deck specifically designed for use with our proprietary Invisi-Loc® underside fastening system.

When installing traditional decking, contractors spend countless hours manually drilling and driving top-side fasteners, which can leave a cluttered, uneven walking surface. By choosing our pre-punched B-Deck:

  • Installation is Faster: The pre-punched holes align perfectly with the Invisi-Loc system, significantly reducing installation time and labor costs.
  • The Floor is Safer & Cleaner: Because the ResinDek panels are secured from underneath, the top walking surface is completely free of visible screw heads, eliminating tripping hazards and creating a smooth runway for pallet jacks and AGVs.
  • Alignment is Guaranteed: The pre-punched deck acts as a built-in template, ensuring precise alignment of your ResinDek panels every time.

B-Deck FAQs

What is the difference between B-Deck and N-Deck?

Both are corrugated steel decking used for industrial platforms, but they have different profiles. B-Deck is 1.5 inches deep and has a narrower rib, making it the standard choice for most mezzanine floors. N-Deck is deeper (3 inches) with a wider rib, which allows it to span greater distances between structural beams.

The required gauge depends on the beam spacing and the loads your platform must support (such as heavy machinery, pallet jacks, or AGVs). For most industrial platforms using 3/4″ ResinDek flooring, we recommend a minimum of 20-gauge steel or 18-gauge. Our engineering team can help you determine the exact gauge needed for your specific load requirements.

The span capacity of 1.5″ B-Deck varies based on the gauge of the steel, the number of spans (single, double, or triple), and the uniform load it needs to carry. Please refer to our Allowable Uniform Load tables above for detailed span and deflection calculations.

Buying your B-Deck and ResinDek panels together ensures you are getting a fully integrated, engineered flooring system. It guarantees compatibility, allows you to utilize time-saving options like our pre-punched deck for the Invisi-Loc system, and streamlines your logistics by sourcing your entire platform surface from one trusted partner.
