Polydeck flooring that is starting to delaminate

REPLACE POLYDECK FLOORS WITH RESINDEK PANELS

THE REWORK SOLUTION FOR POLYDECK FLOOR DELAMINATION PROBLEMS

Are your laminated floors (such as polydeck) delaminating, cracking, or peeling — creating trip hazards and preventing employees from smoothly rolling dollies, pallet jacks, or carts throughout your mezzanines?

Laminated polydeck floors typically use some sort of wood substrate and a HDPE or polyethylene top surface. Thus, they are not engineered to withstand the rigors of industrial material handling traffic. They often are rated for lower allowable wheel loads. While they may start their useful lives as a smooth, easily negotiated surface, under repeated heavy loads and high traffic their layers will bow, buckle, or separate. This damage prohibits loads on wheeled dollies, carts, and pallet jacks from rolling smoothly over the damaged flooring. And once delamination starts, it's only going to get worse.

A delaminated floor also creates trip hazards for employees walking over it. A trip and fall could potentially lead to an injury, resulting in downtime and a worker's compensation claim. Delamination damage is also unsightly, creating a visually unpleasant work environment which contributes to lower productivity.

Additionally, laminated polydeck flooring surfaces often have a glossy surface. This can impede the ability of navigation lasers used by robotic vehicles to perform as expected, causing read errors that stop the robots' travel.

WHY USE RESINDEK PANELS INSTEAD OF polydeck?

Replacing laminated polydeck floors with ResinDek panels eliminates these issues. ResinDek will never delaminate and is easily maintained. It comes in a variety of thicknesses, surface grades, finishes, and capacity ratings capable of supporting rolling pallet jack loads from 2,000 to 8,000 pounds. In addition to durably withstanding heavy traffic from carts, dollies, pallet jacks, ResinDek also comes in a line designed specifically for robotic vehicles.

All ResinDek flooring panels are backed by a 10-year product warranty. ResinDek panels are free from defect, able to safely carry specified design loads, and are structurally sound. Any panels that are found to be defective for a period of 10 years from date of shipment to the jobsite and installed in accordance to our installation instructions will either be replaced or Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products will make a reasonable allowance for repair. The ResinDek warranty will transfer to the end user for the entire period.
